Chipotle Citrus Chicken. If you watch my stories, this is the Meal I made last Sunday and I said I’d post the recipe if it turned out well. It was awesome so here it is @themealprepmanual⁣

INGREDIENTS⁣
2.5 lbs (1135g) chicken thighs ⁣
1 orange⁣
1 lime ⁣
1 (10g) chipotle pepper in adobo sauce ⁣
3 tbsp (45g) adobo sauce ⁣
1 tbsp (8g)Cumin ⁣
1 tsp (3g) Salt ⁣
1 tsp (2g) Pepper⁣
1 tbsp (8g) Chili powder ⁣
2 tbsp (30mL) Olive oil⁣
2 cups (350g) cooked rice ⁣
1 cup canned black beans ⁣
1 (150g) green pepper ⁣
1 (150g) red pepper ⁣
1 tbsp (15g) garlic ⁣
1/2 medium (100g) onion ⁣
2 medium (500g) zucchini ⁣
⁣
PREP⁣
1. In a large ziplock bag, add the chicken, juice from the lime, juice from the orange, chipotle pepper and adobo sauce, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper. Mix together and allow to marinate for 30 minutes. ⁣
2. Start the rice. ⁣
3. While the chicken is marinating, chop your peppers and onion into a small dice. Cut the zucchini into a large dice. ⁣
4. In a skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until the onion has softened. Add the peppers and cook until soft. ⁣
5. Add in 2 cups of cooked rice, 1 cup of rinsed black beans and season with salt, pepper, and lime juice to taste. ⁣
6. Heat some oil in another pan and sauté the zucchini until soft. ⁣
7. Once the chicken has marinated, heat a grill pan over medium heat and cook the chicken. ⁣
8. Cut the chicken into one inch pieces and return to the pan to get even color.⁣
9. Divide the ingredients evenly between 5 containers. That means it makes 5 servings. ⁣

Nothing like summer grilling nights🔥This meal was so easy & flavorful that I could honestly eat it every day👏🏻Salmon veggie skewers (+ steak for the hubby) + sweet potato fries + coleslaw and an Israeli salad 🌿Full details below 👇🏼
Salmon skewers- remove the skin from a salmon fillet and cut into cubes. Marinate in @annieshomegrown sweet & spicy bbq sauce for at least 30 minutes. Layer on a skewer with veggies of choice (I used peppers and zucchini) and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Grill for about 10 minutes flipping every couple of minutes.
Sweet Potatoes- slice sweet potatoes into thin wedges. Season with salt, garlic powder, pepper and smoked paprika. Toss in olive oil and bake on 375 for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through
Coleslaw- shredded cabbage (I get mine from @traderjoes) mixed with @sirkensingtons avocado oil mayo, lemon juice, salt & pepper
Israeli salad- cucumbers, tomatoes, chickpeas, chopped mint dressed in olive oil, lemon juice, salt & pepper

Under #RKSK, AFHC entails a whole gamut of clinical and counselling services on diverse adolescent health issues ranging from Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) to Nutrition, Substance abuse, Injuries and Violence (including Gender based violence, Non Communicable Diseases and Mental Health). #ANSHteam identified AFHC in Bisheshwarganj block of #AspirationalDistrict Bahraich and took steps towards improvement of the same. Through informative posters, infrastructural development, the induction of the trainers to the ANSH project and the help of the Government officials; we were able to get the AFHC running.

Teriyaki chicken and broccoli
Ingredients
* 4 cups fresh broccoli (see notes below if you're using frozen broccoli)
* 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast, diced into 1-inch cubes
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
Sauce * 2 cloves garlic minced
* 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
* 1/4 cup water
* 2 tablespoon vinegar
* 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
* 2 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions
1- In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the sauce and set aside.
2- Bring a medium pot of water to a boil and add the broccoli. Blanch the broccoli for 5 minutes then immediately transfer the broccoli to an ice bath (a large bowl of water with ice in it) to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
3- In a skillet, brown chicken on both sides with vegetable oil over medium high heat. Add the broccoli (excess water drained well) then turn the heat down to medium. Gently pour in the sauce and let thicken, about 5 minutes. Gently toss the ingredients in the sauce until everything is coated well.
4- Serve over brown rice.

Do you ever think about your feet when doing lunges? ⁣
⁣
Sure, we all know we shouldn’t let out knees collapse inwards excessively, but our attention shouldn’t be channeled towards out knees as much as the muscles that when fired, dictate the way we move our legs.⁣ ⁣
This time, let's take a look at the way we place the load on our feet when doing walking lunges!⁣
⁣
✅ Creating an arch and giving it an external rotation cue, will make sure that we won’t let knees bend inwards. This will align the knees with our feet, making us perform the exercise well. ⁣
⁣
❌ On the other hand (foot?) we can see how placing the weight inwards can be a cause our knees could be collapsing inwards, due to the internal rotation cue implemented at the bottom, typically common in those with flat feet. This can cause knee pain. ⁣
⁣
Next time you do these, put more attention towards the way you distribute the weight on your feet, it may help you out!⁣

Admin絕對唔係專業,只係一個自學健身啲小薯。近來開始有點情緒爆煲,情緒得唔到排解,覺得所有嘢都唔順心。(因此有時答問題時會語氣好差,希望大家見諒。) 望返轉頭,過左兩個幾月,有同學話跟住我地建議嘅做法,覺得自己fit左,啲動作易做左,開始鐘意做運動/重訓,或者睇左ig story之後會嘗試食得健康啲,甚至自己帶飯,亦有同學反映好多朋友話佢瘦左等等。唔知算唔算係幫到大家。
呢兩個月嚟發生好多嘢,我有啲攰啦,大家都攰啦,但希望大家抖一抖,會再返嚟繼續努力。
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 我成日強調想增肌又好,減脂又好,不外乎食、操、訓三方面做工夫。冇人係「食極唔肥」或者「飲水都肥」,好有可能只係你唔夠紀律同埋用錯方法。
係到想提下大家,同時提醒我自己,當初想改變嘅決心。我知非常時期好難嚴格咁執行飲食/重訓計劃,但希望大家至少可以做到以下幾點:
1. 均衡飲食
每日攝取每磅體重x 1 - 1.2克蛋白質
即係你140磅重,每日就要食至少140克嘅蛋白質
早餐可以食雞蛋、麥皮、呑拿魚、cottage cheese,蛋白粉等等
午餐同晚餐都要有至少一隻手掌咁長嘅肉類,可以係雞牛羊豬魚,海鮮同豆類亦係優質蛋白質來源
食夠蛋白質可以避免肌肉流失,係缺乏運動嘅情況下未至於會暴肥
2. 堅持運動
做運動可以強身健體
要有體能一定係練返嚟
如果你冇時間冇心機或者太攰(我相信好多人最近都係咁)
咁就盡量令自己郁多啲,行下樓梯,lunch hour 食完飯散下步,時不時拉下筋,都好過你齋坐
(當然最好都係認認真真咁去尖房操返個零鐘)
3. 足夠睡眠
每日至少有7 - 9 個鐘睡眠
盡量唔好遲過一點訓
一日訓得唔好
令你新陳代謝減慢
第二日又狀態唔好
然後又不停以「今日好攰,聽日再算」嚟推遲運動計劃
係咪似曾相識?
唔好比藉口自己
要健康一定要克制自己
有足夠休息係做所有嘢嘅基礎
身體好公平
做運動係多勞多得嘅事
以上係非常時期嘅非常辦法
你做得越足,做得越好,自然越快見到成果
