However , I LOVE to do laundry! In fact, it’s a bit of an obsession. W czasie treningu, gdy słyszę: Niżej noga! Mam ochotę odburknąć Sama sobie podnieś wyżej nogę, Jelena! I obiecuję sobie, że to ostatni raz, że już więcej na trening nie przyjdę. Ale zawsze wracam, bo to najlepsze zajęcia na jakie do tej pory trafiłam. Jest ciężko, ale głównie za sprawą intensywności, pracujemy głównie z ciężarem własnego ciała i z własnym łbem, który ciągle podpowiada: Nie dasz rady Anka, już odpuść. Dzięki Jelena, że jesteś. Dzięki takim trenerom jak Ty mam świetny humor i energię na cały weekend.

Sunday was all about engaging myself into Tabata workout which i haven't incorporated before.I did this Tabata workout for four minutes and after one minute i thought to myself that do i really need to go for next three minutes as it got my whole body sore than the usual. 😅😅 Tabata workouts are a method of exercise that lasts only four minutes, and requires you to go all out for 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds.Repeat this cycle eight times to complete the workout .
They are proven to be the most effective way for fat loss. These workouts are reliant on quickly repeating simple excersises with full exertion.It would take five times the amount of typical cardio exercise to shed the same number of calories you can in a four-minute.

So before you start ticking each of these Tabata wod’s off as completed you may have one burning question, what actually is Tabata?
Tabata is a form of #hiit training (High intensity interval training) traditionally made up of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. This work to rest ratio allows you to maintain a high heart rate at all times but gives you just enough rest time to gather yourself ready for another 20 seconds of maximum effort. Keeping a high intensity during the 20 second window of work is key to gaining the most out of these workouts and making the most progress.
The 40/20 method is just a traditional Tabata set up with the work and rest ratio doubled. Within the 40 seconds of work you will still be able to maintain a high intensity but your muscles will start to produce lactic acid. The 20 seconds of rest will give you chance to take in oxygen to help combat this lactic acid build up but ultimately you will be training your muscles to work through, and hold off the onset of lactic acid.
The 60/30 method is a much less common work to rest ratio. The intensity of work won’t be as high but can give the feeling of having to “hold on” when performing a movement in order to fulfil the 60 second window of work. Personally I like to throw one of these into my training every now and again. Firstly for a bit of variation, secondly as a different challenge both physically and mentally but also I feel it’s good training when competing other styles of workouts which have a prescribed number of repetitions which need completing. If the number of repetitions is high, being used to 60 seconds continuous movement is a good way to prepare your body and mind.

I just finished a great workout that @Nicolechristine_fitness shared 2 days ago. Just body weights and bands. Was able to do full sets of 30 on all but the dips. Dips are my nemesis. I have never done the superman hold before. She made it look so easy, but wow I felt that. Lol
